Grandpa George was a man full of personality that has most definitely lived a long and fulfilling life.  He was a proud father, grandfather and great-grandfather. The Grandpa George that most of us knew was a feisty, yet loving individual. A lot of people that didn't know him underestimated him. He was this adorable, small framed, grandfather figure, walking around with his cane and reading his daily newspaper. However, he was this tough hearted guy, always aware of his surroundings and never afraid to stand up for himself and his family. But it was his generosity and his endless love for his family that has made an impact on us.

Grandpa George had a weak spot for his grandkids and great-grandchildren. He did not hesitate to give monetary gifts to the younger grandkids and great-grandchildren whenever he saw them, it was his way of showing his love and giving back to those he loved. He enjoyed making us laugh by showing off his dance moves, telling us stories about how he charmed the ladies in his US Navy days, joking around, pulling pranks on grandma, telling us stories about how grandma fell in love with him, and you can imagine the list goes on.

We can say with confidence that Grandpa George went to heaven after living a fulfilling life surrounded by love. He wanted to see everyone happy, safe, and successful. He left earth peacefully and with contentment knowing his family is taken care of and in a good place. All the memories we have shared with him will forever be in our hearts.
