RITOTA Dolores departed this Life November 22, 2024. Private Cremation. Dolores Anita (Cirillo) Ritota, Sr. 95, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 22nd, 2024, in Delray Beach, Florida, after residing in Boynton Beach, Florida for the past 5 years. Dolores was predeceased by her husband, Dr. John P. Ritota, Sr. DDS (married 64 years, deceased in 2013) and son, Dr. Theodore C. Ritota, DMD (deceased in 2022). Dolores leaves behind two surviving children, Dr. John P. Ritota, Jr. DDS PA and daughter, Dolores (Dee) Anita Ritota, Jr. and daughter in-law, June (Terlizzi) Ritota. Dolores Sr. is also survived by her 6 granddaughters: Kailah and Shaynah Gittleman, Olivia, Brianna, Vanessa and Giorgina Ritota. Dolores was born and raised in Montclair, New Jersey to Charles and Lucy (Caponigro) Cirillo and she had one brother, Augustus Strazza. Dolores and John raised their family in South Orange and Deal, New Jersey, while also spending winters at their Hallandale, Florida condo. Dolores was active in bowling, golf, swimming and skiing and had a great passion for cooking, dancing, travel and adventure. She loved playing cards weekly and going to the horse-racing track with her family on a regular basis (always a winner too)! Dolores loved life and will be sorely missed by all who knew her spirit, tenacity, endless energy and undeniable wit. A "Celebration of life" will be announced at a later date. Please keep the Ritota family in your thoughts and prayers. The Joseph A. Scarano Pines Memorial Chapel is Honored to assist the Ritota family with the arrangements.
