Obituary of Enya Ebreo Reyes

Please share a memory of Enya to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Enya Ebreo Reyes passed away peacefully February 13th, 2025, at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood Florida. Enya was surrounded by love in the hour of her death and as a devout Catholic, was assured of God’s promise of Heaven that awaited her. She was born February 17th, 1957, in Batangas City, Philippines to Isidro Argente and Melencia Ebreo and spent many happy years there before moving to Florida to begin a new chapter. Enya married her loving and devoted husband, Rodelio, on September 21, 1980. They enjoyed 44 beautiful years together at the time of her passing and stand as a testament to the dedication and sanctity of the covenant of marriage. Their marriage produced two wonderful children, Anthony and Ronald, of whom Enya could not be more proud. Family was everything to Enya and she gave her all to them. Enya cared for her family but also spent her life in the service of others through her calling as a nurse. She began her journey to nursing at Arellano University and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1977. She went on to further her education and earned her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. She practiced as a nurse for 38 years doing bedside cares, case management and upper-level managing. She was known for her strong belief in patient advocacy and strived to be a voice for those entrusted to her care. She retired early from nursing in 2015 due to her battle with breast cancer. She fought and survived her battle with breast cancer that same year. Enya was an active member of her community and a devout member of the Catholic church. She prayed with the Marian Prayer group and many others. She was a firm believer that prayer could move mountains and dedicated her time to ensure the needs of others were lifted up in prayer. She enjoyed traveling and Enya and Rodel traveled the world together, collecting beautiful experiences and sharing their time making memories they would cherish. Enya is survived by her husband, Rodelio Jayme Reyes, her children Rodel Anthony Reyes and Ronald Jayme Reyes, and two brothers Eriberto and Rey Ebreo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Isidro Argente Ebreo and Melencia Ebreo, her sisters, Zeny Ebreo Catapang, and Nenet Ebreo, and her brother, Gene Ebreo.
