Mrs. Maria “Isorita” Freire Mawyin died peacefully surrounded by her family in her loving home on February 17, 2025 in Davie, FL at the age of 73. Maria Isora is survived by her husband Walter, her daughter Karen, son Moises, brothers Roberto, Manolo, Francis, and a sister named Cecilia all in Ecuador. She is preceded in death by her son Richard, sister Betsy, sister Jacqueline, sister Elsita Maria, mother Esther Judith Coello, and father Manuel Mawyin.

Isorita was born on November 10, 1951 in Salitre (a Guayas province), Ecuador to parents Manuel and Esther. She married Walter, her high school sweetheart in 1974. The couple welcomed daughter Karen in 1976, and in 1985 their son Richard joined the family.

She will forever be remembered as a vibrant, joyous, nurturing, and selfless soul who would dedicated all her time, love, and prayers to raise and protect her children.

Isorita was passionate about family, connection, and God. She was a true healer in every sense of the word. She could “touch” and fix someone physically and spiritually, and always gave u a dose of her ONE OF A KIND humor!

Her glorious life is to be celebrated on February 23, 2025 with a wake

between the hours of 12-8pm at Scarano Funeral Home (9000 Pines Blvd in Pembroke Pines, FL.
