MARCALLE
Teresa
With profound sorrow and heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Teresa Marcalle, who departed this world peacefully on February 21, 2025, at the age of 84. Though she is no longer with us, the love, wisdom, and kindness she so effortlessly shared will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Born on March 5, 1940, in the Dominican Republic to Jose Sandoval and Elvira Holguin, Teresa was a beacon of love and strength. She was a devoted daughter, a cherished mother, a doting grandmother and great-grandmother, a caring sister, a loving aunt, and a true friend to many. Her warmth and generosity knew no bounds, and she touched countless lives with her unwavering kindness, deep faith, and nurturing spirit.
Teresa was a woman of immense love and sacrifice, always putting her family before herself. She built a home filled with laughter, tradition, and an unbreakable bond of love. Her cooking brought comfort and joy to all who gathered at her table, and her wisdom and gentle guidance served as a pillar of strength for those who sought her counsel. She was a source of light, and her presence brought solace and joy to those around her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Elvira Holguin and Jose Sandoval, and her devoted husband, Inocencio Alfredo Marcalle.
Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her children, Martha, Arelis, Jose, Elvira, and Antonio; her step-daughter Clara; her grandchildren, Adam, Josthanny, Jerel, Jillian, Daniel, Johann, Laura and Miranda; step-grandchildren, Thomas and Daniel; and her great-grandchildren, Udanis, Edgerin, Caylin, Ayla, Jaydinn, and Raylinn. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit, a reflection of the love she so generously gave.
Teresa will be remembered not only for the love she poured into her family but also for the impact she had on everyone she encountered. Her faith was unwavering, her generosity limitless, and her love boundless. While our hearts ache in her absence, we find comfort in knowing that her memory will continue to live on through the lives she touched so deeply.
A service to celebrate her beautiful life will be held on February 27, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Joseph A. Scarano Funeral Homes. She will be laid to rest on February 28, 2025, at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
Family and friends are invited to come together to honor her memory, share stories, and find solace in the love she left behind.
Rest in peace, dear Teresa. Your love, kindness, and legacy will forever remain in our hearts.
