He is survived by his spouse, Patricia Calabro; stepson, Kris Calabro; daughter-in-law, Alana Lagerström; grandson, Lucas Keane Calabro; sister, Dianne Keane-Escobar; and nephews, Kevin Escobar and Michael Escobar.
Don was born on November 7, 1957, in Winchester, MA, to Donald Keane Sr. and Annamay Collins. He grew up in Medford, MA, and Lake Shore Park, NH, before moving to South Florida in 1971. Don graduated from Hollywood Hills High School in 1976 and continued his education at Sheridan Vocational School, specializing in auto body repair.
Don had a deep passion for life, which was evident in everything he loved, spending time on the water boating, admiring classic and high-performance cars, and attending races to experience the thrill of the track. Above all, he cherished his family and friends. He was fiercely loyal, always putting others before himself, and was the first to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering support left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
