Catalino Dudang Cruz Rudio, 99,of 1300 Northwest 174 St., Miami, FL passed away peacefully on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 30, 1925, Catalino dedicated his life to service, (Philippine Air Force), both in the military and in his community.

Following his distinguished military service from the Philippine Air Force, Catalino immigrated to the United States in 1974. He worked as a security officer for Wackenhut Corporation. Known for his dedication, attention to detail, and compassion, he left a lasting impact on those he served and worked alongside.

Catalino is survived by his children, Arthur (wife Linda), Vicente (wife Lota), Fernando (wife Lina), Juanito; his nine grandchildren - MaryAnne (David-husband), Juanito Jr (Julz-wife), Leslie (Paulo-husband), TJ (Michelle-wife), Patrick (Linda-wife), Lindsey (Leo-husband), Jessica, Jasmine (Rolls-husband), Dillon (Mindy-wife); and his sixteen great grandchildren - Kayla, Joshua, Malaya, Giovanna, Ares, Alexandria, Olivia, Gavin, Isabella, Addison, Charlotte, Landon, Luke, Aria, Mia, Skyla. His legacy of service, love, and dedication will forever be cherished by his family and friends.

A funeral service to honor Catalino’s life and service will be held for viewing at Scarano Funeral Homes, on March 23, 2025, 5 pm to 8 pm at 9000 Pines Blvd., Pembroke Pines, FL; and, on March 24, 2025, 11:00 am, for church service at St. Edward’s Catholic Church, 19000 Pines Blvd, Pembroke Pines, FL.
