Vita Rose (Vera) Bavaro, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025 at the age of 97. She was born in New York City, raised in Mount Vernon, New York and lived in Florida since 1974. She was a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Crafters and with the crafters at Schott's Community Center. Predeceased by her husband Sal and great grandson John. Those to cherish her memory are her sons, Nicholas, Angelo and John, daughters-in-law, Enid, Linda and Cecilia, her grandchildren, Matthew, Todd, Gian, Lana, Christopher, Patrick, Bianca and Alec, and great-grandchildren, Jason, Lana, Joseph, Jonah, Raiden, Blakely, Adalyn, Gavin, Grayson, Luke, Justin, Yossi, Zayden, Mika, Charlie, Addison, and nieces and nephews.

She was very passionate about her Catholic faith and devotion to Padre Pio.

The wake is scheduled at Scarano Funeral Parlor, 9000 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024 on Monday, March 24, 2025 between the hours of 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm. The funeral is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, 701 Hiatus Road, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33026 at 11:00 am.

She requested in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Maximilian Church or Schott's Community Center.
