Leroy McKee Miller Jr passed peacefully and very loved at the age of 93 on April 20, 2025. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and so much more to so many who loved him. Above all he was the rock and role model to our family always making sure everyone was taking care of and protected. He was a source of strength and wisdom and always reliable, present, devoted and loyal to his family friends and all those he met. Leroy was a caring and devoted husband to his wife of 51 years Norma Miller who passed in 2020. He was a loving father to his son Kenneth, daughter Betty, granddaughter Melanie and her husband Chase. He was a loving brother to 3 older sisters Ruth, Jane and Dorothy. He loved and was loved by his nieces and nephews Jill, Jackie, John, Karen, Phillip, Kenna, Drew, Mark and Debbie. Leroy grew up in Waynesburg, PA to parents Leroy McKee Miller and Margaret Hardin Miller. Leroy was a proud veteran who served in the Air Force for 4 years during the Korean War where he trained his fellow airmen. He lived in New York where he met his wife of 51 years and together they made their home in Jupiter, Florida where they lived a full and exciting life. Leroy spent many years working as an accountant at Earl Stuart Toyota where he made many friends. He always prided himself on his commitment and work ethic and lived by example to be a role model to his family. Leroy and Norma later moved to Ellijay, Georgia with their dog Jodie where they enjoyed several years and made many memories and adventures with loved ones by their side. Leroy found the most joy in spending time with his family and making many memories at the beach, going boating, having family dinners and cocktails, watching football, lots of ice cream trips with his granddaughter, taking the family for apples, to see waterfalls and riding horse in Georgia, and always enjoying homemade cookies from the family. Leroy moved back home to South Florida where he was loved and cared for by Betty, Melanie and Chase with all the same dedication, support and love that he provided over the years, his family made sure he was loved and happy always. He was in close contact with all his family both near and far and always knew the love and support was all around him. Leroys legacy is one of loving, caring, strength, wisdom, dedication, hard work and loyalty qualities that will continue through his family. He made everyone feel loved and he brought joy, laughter, adventure, and unforgettable memories into the lives of everyone he met. Private Cremation. Please keep the Miller, Jr. family in your thoughts and prayers. The Joseph A. Scarano Pines Memorial Chapel is Honored to assist the Miller, Jr. family with the arrangements.
