Lisa Ann Evancho Age 66, formerly of Munhall PA, passed away peacefully in her home in Hollywood, Florida on June 20, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Lisa was a loving mother to her daughter Krystal Tamewitz (Jason Knapp) and the best Mimi to her grandson, Jordan Knapp. She is survived by her sister Amy Evancho (Erik Gunhus), and her brother Wayne Evancho (Peggy). Lisa was a loving sister-in-law to John Tamewitz (Kelli), Lynda Rothrauff (Howard), Judi Szpara (Joe), Daniel Tamewitz (Yang). She was a loving aunt to Stephanie Dwyer (Sean), Meagan Evancho, Mathew Evancho, Melissa Rothrauff, Justin Rothrauff, Tiffany Palmer (Casey), Jennifer Lukart (Jon), Kayla Tamewitz (Derek), Dianna Botta (Brian), Kimberly Tamewitz, Jennifer Szpara, and Tracy Moffett (Jeff). Lisa was also a wonderful great-aunt to Hailey and Christopher Dwyer, Jack and Avery Palmer, Grayson, Ryan and Leo Lukart, Tyler and Madison Botta, and Mia (Everly Choflet), Olivia and Nico Migliozzi. She is also survived by her daughter’s father, Kenneth Tamewitz. She is preceded in death by her mother Vilma Evancho and her father Edward Evancho, as well as her in-laws Joan and Richard Tamewitz. Lisa was born on July 2, 1958, to Vilma and Edward Evancho. Lisa lived in the Pittsburgh area until 1995 when she and her daughter moved to Florida to join her siblings. Lisa’s heart was never far from Pittsburgh with her numerous family and friends, and of course The Steelers. Lisa was devoted to her family and always the first to offer help and advice. Lisa’s life was full of caring for others, her dogs, and her faith in God. Lisa especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the beach. Lisa has a special talent for making each and every person in her family feel welcomed, appreciated and loved. She was giving, caring and loving to everyone she knew and met. Lisa was taken from us too soon. She will be greatly missed. Services to be announced at a later date. Please keep the Evancho family in your thoughts and prayers. The Joseph A. Scarano Pines Memorial Chapel is Honored to assist the Evancho family with the arrangements.
