Carlos passed away peacefully at St. Catherine’s Hospice on September 08, 2025 at the age of 59.
Born in Costa Rica, Carlos was the beloved son of Rafael and Jeannette Sanabria. He is survived by his son Julian and sisters, Maria Garcia, Anna Vazquez, and Rocio Sanabria. He was proceeded in death by his brother, Rafael Mauricio Sanabria.
Carlos graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in Architecture and went on to be a talented architect, proud of the many projects he designed throughout his career. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he found joy in building intricate models of vintage military aircrafts and tanks, a hobby that reflected his creativity and patience.
Those who knew Carlos will remember him for his generosity, his quick wit and his kind spirit. He was a devoted father, caring son and brother, and a trusted friend whose memory will forever live in the hearts of those who loved him.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday September 21, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Joseph A. Scarano Funeral Home, 9000 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024. All are welcomed to attend and celebrate Carlos’s life.

In Repose Sunday September 21, 2025 from 2:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Joseph A. Scarano Pines Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday September 22, 2025 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, cremation to follow. The Joseph A.
