Christa Jeanne Garofalo, age 36, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 12, 2025, in Cooper City, Florida. Her loss leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Born on July 24, 1989, in Staten Island, New York, Christa was the cherished daughter of Robert and Jeanne Garofalo. She grew up in Cooper City and graduated from Cooper City High School in 2007. Christa initially pursued a career in nursing, driven by her compassion for others, before finding her passion in the hospitality industry, where she formed lasting friendships and touched countless lives with her warmth and generosity.

Christa was a gifted and accomplished painter, often creating heartfelt pieces for those closest to her. Her artwork was a true reflection of her soul—vibrant, emotional, and full of love. She had a deep connection to nature and animals, and her life was brightened by the loyal companionship of her beloved dog, Summer, and her adored cats.

She will be remembered for her charisma, boundless kindness, and selfless spirit. Christa was a beautiful soul who radiated love, laughter, and light. Her caring nature extended not only to her family and friends but to everyone she met. She also had an incredible sense of humor that could light up a room and bring joy to those around her.

Christa is survived by her loving parents, Robert and Jeanne Garofalo; her devoted brothers, Robert Jr. (Emily) and Thomas (Jennifer); her nieces, Gianna, McKenna, Rowan, Giselle, Stella, and Dorabella; her nephews, Matthew and José Jr; her many dear cousins; her aunts and uncles; and her precious dog, Summer. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Samantha, with whom she is now reunited.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Joseph A. Scarano Pines Memorial Chapel, 9000 Pines Blvd, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024. All are welcome to come, share memories, and honor Christa’s life.
