Once when I was a bit nervous & shy at an an important interview Connie pulled up a chair & spoke well of my qualifications to the job interviewer. Butting in to assist a good friend in trouble is what Connie did time again for her friends & family. Fearless, You could always count on Connies warmth & friendship when you most needed it. She had “moxie” and generosity, enough to spare in her little Italian, Chicago body. Oh, how we love and will miss her!!!

Dear Lisa and family, with heavy hearts! Our deepest condolences to you and your family. Connie was one of the sweetest energetic happy go lucky funniest person I ever met! I will always cherish our long talks when we would get together. She would make us laugh for hours including when Merrydth and I would drive back home we would just start laughing again. Connie was always so loving and generous. She always kept me fed when I visited, despite her back pain, and loved to share her stories with me of Italy. I will forever cherish the day we spent together at Eataly, the meals we shared, and the stories we swapped. I wish I could make my pasta for her every day. Rest in heaven, with love and peace always.

Grief is the price of great love, and your mom was deeply loved. May her light continue to guide your days ahead. I will always enjoy the times we had together at the house when the team and I would visit and the great memories we got share. But the best memory I have is her getting so mad that a temp stole all those cannoli's she made for the team. She was ready to kick to butt.
