Maria “Connie” Marcuccino
June 24,1934 – November 8, 2025
Connie Marcuccino, 91, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025 in her home, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Simbario, Italy, Connie began her life’s journey in a small Italian village before moving to Chicago, where she built her family and filled her home with laughter, love, and the irresistible aroma of her cooking.
While living in Chicago, Connie worked in a record store — a perfect fit for her lifelong love of music and dancing. Music was always a part of her life, from the songs she sang in her kitchen to the way she lit up the dance floor at family gatherings.
In 1972, Connie moved to Florida, where she continued to share her warmth and humor with everyone she met. In the 1980s, she made history as the first female sales representative at the food brokerage company where she worked, Budd Mayer— a role she embraced with determination, charm, and professionalism. She was proud of that accomplishment and served as an inspiration to others through her hard work and perseverance.
Connie was known for her generous spirit and her one-of-a-kind personality. She loved her family deeply, especially her grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. She was happiest when cooking for others, driving her friends around town, and sharing a good laugh — often with one of her famous jokes. Connie had a gift for helping people and never hesitated to lend a hand or brighten someone’s day with her kindness.
She is survived by her beloved children, Anthony Marcuccino & Gina Vento, Lisa and Michael Guidetti; and her cherished grandchildren Christina Guidetti, Mike Jr. & Melissa Guidetti, Samuel Guidetti, Angela Guidetti and Gillian Turner. Connie’s love, laughter, and music will live on in all who were lucky enough to know her.
A memorial service will be held at Joseph A Scarano Funeral Home,9000 Pines Blvd, Pembroke Pines Fl 33024, on Friday November 14th from 11am-3pm where family and friends will gather to celebrate her beautiful life.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St.Judes Children's Research Hospital.
Please keep the Marcuccino family in your thoughts and prayers. The Joseph A. Scarano Pines Memorial Chapel is Honored to assist the Marcuccino family with the arrangements. 954-438-8222
