Edward J. Weber passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 16, 2025, in Davie, Florida, at the age of 90.
He is lovingly survived by his children: Paul Weber of Buffalo Grove, IL; Theresa (Terri) Cartwright of Rochelle, IL; Tom Weber of Chesterfield, IL; David Weber of Wheeling, IL; Robert (Bob) Weber of Lewisville, TX; and Mary Rodriguez of Hoover, AL. He also leaves behind seven cherished grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense pride and joy.
Edward was born on July 16, 1935, in Quincy, IL, to Harold Weber and Irene (Balzer) Weber. On June 26, 1954, he married the love of his life, Darlene Wand, who preceded him in death on June 17, 2016, after more than 60 years of marriage. Together, they built a loving family and welcomed six children into the world.
A devoted man of faith, Edward was a long-standing member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in Pembroke Pines, FL, where his faith guided him throughout his life.
A private service with family will be held at a later date to honor and celebrate Edward’s life, the love he shared with his family, and the lasting impact he had on all who knew him.
