Anthony Martin Jones Obituary
Anthony (aka Tonte, Ton Ton, Antz) Jones, died unexpectedly at Memorial Hospital West, Pembroke Pines, Florida on the 15th January 2026 at the age of 34.
He is survived by his parents, Carol and Patrick and his twin brother Christopher. He is preceded by his grandparents, Martin and Selcie Seaman, Marvie Hurst and Joseph Jones.
Anthony was born on the 4th November 1991 the first of identical twins in Essex, England. The family emigrated to the United States in 1999. Anthon y attended Palm Cove Elementary, Walter C. Young Middle School and Charles W. Flanagan High School, where he graduated with a Special diploma in 2011.
Anthony was quite a character. He was lovable and witty and even though he suffered from Cerebral Palsy, he was able do many things. He travelled to his day centre, Rayfield/Genesis Community Care, Hollywood, Florida - twice a week by himself on TOPS transportation. He thoroughly enjoyed his independence, travelling by himself and also his time at the Centre – we had wonderful conversations when he returned home about his day. He also enjoyed going to his art class at Schott Communities in Cooper City, Florida. We would work together using the hand over hand method. He was very particular about what he painted and very critical about his work. He really enjoyed painting landscapes, lighthouses and sunsets; but refused to paint flowers! The attached photo shows an airplane, one of his paintings. Some of his paintings were sold through Schott Communities. Anthony also participated in the Kiwanis Exceptional Riders program, which he thoroughly enjoyed.
Anthony attended mass regularly at St. Edward Catholic Church in Pembroke Pines.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Schott Communities, 6591 S. Flamingo Road, Cooper City, Fl, 33330. Tel: 954 434 3306, Rayfield/Genesis Community Care, 2210 Pierce Street, Hollywood, Fl, or Kiwanis Exceptional Riders, Kiwanis Division 24 , Kiwanis Club of Hollywood.
Please keep the Jones family in your thoughts and prayers. The Joseph A. Scarano Pines Memorial Chapel is Honored to assist the Jones family with the arrangements.
