Margie C. McWilliams October 27, 1928 – February 5, 2026

Pre deceased by her husband Joel B. McWilliams and Parents: Fred and Marie Condra

Children: Robert Fred McWilliams and Phyllis Scarberry, Son-in-law: James Scarberry, Grand Children: Jason Scarberry, Kristi Szymanski, Kelli Muniz, Children Spouses: Jason’s wife Kelly, Kristi’s husband Dan and Kelli’s husband Frank, 7 Great Grandchildren, Survived by her sisters Dorothy Thacker and Viva Cravens, many nieces and nephews.


Margie lived a wonderful full life. She was born in Tennessee and grew up on her parents farm outside of Chattanooga in the town of Whitwell. She graduated high school where she was the captain of her basketball team and then moved to Chattanooga to work. She met the love of her live Joel B. McWilliams in the nearby small town of Dunlap and were married for 56 beautiful years. They decided to move to Miami in 1955 where they would raise their children. She loved sewing clothes for herself and her daughter, Phyllis. They would wear new dresses every week to church and were so proud. A dedicated mother to her son Fred who loved her and took exceptional care of her until she passed. Her love of bowling and crafting filled her years with happiness and she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A beautiful soul who now is at peace.
