Gustavo “Gus” Ocerinjauregui, 58, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026, after a strong and courageous battle against cancer.
Born on April 8, 1967, in Venezuela, Gustavo lived a life defined by love, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family. He is survived by his father, Gustavo A. Ocerinjauregui; his beloved wife, Patricia Ramirez; his children, Ana, Katherine, and Gustavo Ocerinjauregui; his sisters, Gusmir and Angela Ocerinjauregui; and his brother, Luis Ocerinjauregui. He was preceded in death by his mother, Miriam Saez Chacon.
Gustavo will always be remembered for his warm smile, infectious laughter, wisdom, and the overwhelming love he gave so freely to those around him. He was an active and dedicated father who was always present for his children’s lives, offering guidance, strength, and unconditional support. As a proud and devoted grandfather, he cherished every moment with his three grandsons, Ashton Belliot, Ethan Santana, and Evan Santana.
His legacy is one of resilience, compassion, and deep family bonds. Though he will be profoundly missed, the love and memories he leaves behind will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A funeral service will be held on February 27, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Joseph Scarano Funeral Home in Hollywood, Florida. All who knew and loved Gustavo are welcome to attend and celebrate his life.
