Adam Blue Verklas, 67, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 1, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply.

Born on September 2, 1958, in New York, New York, Adam built a life centered around family and the relationships that mattered most to him.

Adam was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his son, Addison Verklas and his wife Angela; his daughter, Nina Banchon and her husband Julian; and his siblings, Jenni Lyn Cooper and Steven Toth.

His greatest joy was his growing family, including his beloved grandchildren Gianna, Hunter, Aria, Maverick, and Phoenix.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce Verklas and Veronica Verklas Toth, and his wife of 40 years, Elena Verklas.

Adam will be remembered for his kindness, patience, wisdom, and quiet strength. He was someone his family could always turn to for guidance, encouragement, and unwavering love. To them, he was more than a husband, father, or brother; he was a mentor, confidant, and a constant presence throughout their lives.

He cherished simple moments like sharing meals, spending time with family, and traveling. His legacy lives on through the family he loved and the many lives he touched.

Adam’s memory will remain in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, family, and friends. In lieu of a service, a Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
