Mrs. Leonora Machado died unexpectedly at home on 03/03/2026 in Miramar, FL at the age of 77.

Leonora is survived by her husband, Moises Machado and her son, Myles Machado. She is preceded in death by her brothers Benjamin, Nicanor, and Ernesto.

Leonora was born on 11/26/1948 in Manila, Philippines. She married Moises in July 12, 1987. Over the next year the couple welcomed Myles into their home and they lived in Hialeah, Fl until 1998 when they moved to their family home in Miramar, FL.

Leonora worked for Publix where she met her husband, Moises, and they were inseparable ever since. She was an amazing mother and wife who loved her family and who was passionate about her son. She lived to see her granddaughter, Celine, who was born on February 1, 2026. She leaves many nieces and nephews who loved her very much. She loved Jesus and going to church at the Pentecostals of Cooper City. She will be sorely missed by her family and many friends.

A funeral is scheduled for Monday, March 9th at Scarano Funeral Home at Pembroke Pines, FL, with a burial service on March 10, at Fred Hunters Memorial Gardens in Hollywood, Fl.

A pastor from the Pentecostals of Cooper City will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Leonora’s life.
