Giselle Dionne Huffman Obituary
Giselle D. Huffman, 79, passed away peacefully at home into the arms of our Lord on April 13, 2026, at 8:19 p.m.
Born July 22, 1946, in Bogota, Colombia, at an early age she was raised by nuns in a Catholic convent. This was the beginning of her deep-rooted faith in God. At the age of fourteen, she moved to Miami and started her new life thankfully to a wonderful family who welcomed her as one of their own. From there, she thrived in her new surroundings eventually becoming a U.S. citizen, a dental technician, and a proud homeowner. Giselle married the love of her life, John, on June 24, 1978, and together they welcomed their daughter, Jennifer, less than a year later. Two years after welcoming Jennifer, their son, John, was born. For the last 47 years, John and Giselle have been inseparable and lived a beautiful life together with Jennifer. Giselle was the heart and soul of our family - an amazing mother and wife.
Giselle was resilient, independent, and lived a life full of happiness, faith, and love. Her personality was larger than life as her presence would light up a room instantly. Giselle was truly one of God’s angels – loved and adored by her family and friends. She is greatly missed and will never be forgotten.
A prayer service and celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Joseph A. Scarano Funeral Homes in Pembroke Pines.
Please keep the Huffman family in your thoughts and prayers. The Joseph A. Scarano Pines Memorial Chapel is Honored to assist the Huffman family with the arrangements.
