Marjoretta Parker Obituary

PARKER

Marjoretta entered The Lord's House April 14, 2026. It is with broken hearts and deep gratitude that we celebrate the life of Marjoretta Parker, lovingly known as “Madge” a woman whose life was defined by work, wisdom, and the will to lift others higher.

For 70 years, Madge moved through this world as both a healer and a builder. Driven by an endless thirst for knowledge, she became a devoted nurse whose hands and heart cared for countless lives. She never stopped learning. That hunger carried her to Florida International University, where she earned her master’s degree in nursing, and onward to become an Advanced Practice Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Her achievement was more than a title, it was proof that humble beginnings are not limitations, but rather the foundation for a purposeful and determined journey.

Madge’s brilliance wasn’t confined to medicine. She loved real estate and became a magnetic force in the housing markets of North and South Florida. Whether guiding a family into their first home or mentoring a colleague through a tough shift, she led with the same message: “Work hard, keep learning, and never doubt what you can become.”

Those who knew Madge knew her spirit: unwavering perseverance wrapped in compassion. She touched lives not with grand speeches, but with steady encouragement, fierce loyalty, and a sweet enthusiasm that made you believe in yourself.

Madge transitioned out of this life on April 14, 2026, but her legacy does not end here. It lives in every nurse she inspired, every family she housed, and every person she urged to keep going when the road got hard.

Hers was a remarkable life, a testament to a sweet spirit filled with resilience, purpose, and love. We were privileged to get to know her. We are better because she was here!

In honor of Madge’s life and the lasting impact she made on so many, we invite those who feel moved to contribute in her memory. Your generosity will serve as a meaningful tribute to her spirit, compassion, and unwavering dedication to others. Every donation, no matter the size, is a reflection of the love and respect she inspired throughout her life. Thank you for helping us celebrate her legacy in such a thoughtful way.
