Carly Marilyn Morello (Douglas), 40, of Dania Beach, Florida, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Born on April 30, 1985, in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, Carly was the beloved daughter of Robert and Margaret “Peggy” Douglas. She graduated from Manatee High School in 2003 and earned her bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida.

While living in Dania Beach, Carly built a career in outside sales, working with Choice Hotel Services and most recently with AT&T Solutions. But above all, Carly’s greatest joy was her beloved son, Cameron, whom she adored.

Carly was known for her compassion and her kind, generous heart, always ready to help anyone in need. Her warm smile and infectious laughter could brighten up any room, and her quick wit made time spent with her unforgettable. She approached life with determination, had a vibrant spirit and a true love for style that will leave her remembered as the ultimate fashionista.

Carly will be deeply missed by her parents, Robert and Peggy Douglas of Holmes Beach, Florida; her beloved son, Cameron of Pembroke Pines, Florida; and her brother, Robbie Douglas of Deerfield Beach, Florida. She is also survived by grandfather James A. Fynes, and her aunts, uncles, and extended family, including George and Gayle Douglas; Brian and Susan Douglas; Robert Hatke; Nancy and Bob Jachera; Kathy Ronan; and many beloved cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Anna Beatrice Boyle Fynes; her paternal grandfather, George Clifford Douglas; her paternal grandmother, Marilyn Joan Duffy Douglas; and her paternal aunt, Janet Douglas Hatke.

Carly will also be lovingly remembered by a large circle of dear friends and extended family from Anna Maria Island, Bradenton, and the Fort Lauderdale area.

Carly’s angel wings were ready, but our hearts were not. She will be profoundly missed, forever loved and remembered.

A celebration of Carly’s life will be held on her birthday, April 30, 2026, on Anna Maria Island.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. David’s Catholic Church, 3900 S. University Drive, Davie, Florida on May 7, 2026. Guests are asked to arrive at 9:30 a.m., with Mass beginning at 10:00 a.m.
