Joseph Alan "Joe" Lester Obituary
Joseph “Joe” Lester passed away unexpectedly on April 27, 2026 after a traumatic car accident in Pembroke Pines at the age of 70.
Joe is survived by his wife Cheryl, daughter Marla, and son Michael.
Joe was born on January 5, 1956 in Miami, Florida to Jack and Haydez Lester. He graduated high school from Archbishop Curley in 1974. Years later he began working as a bartender. He married Cheryl Weisberg in 1990. The couple welcomed their daughter Marla in 1994 and their son Michael in 2003. His children remember him as a hard-working father who encouraged them to always pursue their goals.
Joe was a sweet, tender-hearted, and genuinely caring man. He carried himself with a quiet kindness and a consistently positive attitude. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He found his greatest joy in the simple, but meaningful things—spending time with his family, being at the beach, and enjoying the beauty of nature. He had a deep love for animals and appreciated the peaceful moments life had to offer. Joe was truly a kind soul.
