Ana Lucia Agudelo Rosas died peacefully May 11th, 2026, in Pembroke Pines, Florida at the tender the age of 97.

Ana Lucia is survived by her sons Carlos and his wife Jaqueline , Dario and his wife Diana, and Fernando.

Ana Lucia is also survived by her daughter-in law Gloria, and grandchildren Hector and wife Maria Eugenia, Vince

and wife Lily, Andres, Jessica and husband Joseph, Max and wife Linda, and great grandchildren Brian, Nicole

Michele, Audrey, Olivia, Phillip, Maxwell, Naomi, her nephew Edgar, and niece Marta Lucia and great great

grandchildren Valerie and Mila.

Ana Lucia was preceded in death by her Parents Soledad and Alejandro, her son Hector, grandson Dario Jr.,

great grandson Austin, brothers Jaime, Oscar, Guillermo, and her sisters Gladys and Nelly.

Ana Lucia was born in Medellin, Colombia to Soledad Estrada and Alejandro Rosas.

Ana Lucia was a very generous woman and every year at Christmas time , She gathered the names of poor

children and delivered clothing, toys, and presents up in the mountains in Colombia where she was well known at

Christmas time.

Ana Lucia married Jose Otoniel Agudelo ( Deceased in 1983)

After moving to Cali, Colombia she worked as a designer of elegant ladies dresses, opened a store “El Zafiro”

where she acquired contracts for Sears Roebuck for all the stores in Colombia.

Ana Lucia sold the store and moved to the USA in 2001 and became a US Citizen.

She enjoyed traveling to Italy, Mexico, Brazil, Canada and USA.

Ana Lucia moved to Century Village in Pembroke Pines, FL.

where she spent the rest of her life with new friends and relatives.

The family would like to thank Fernando for taking care of Mom during her last few years at her home.

Ana Lucia loved life, family and friends...

Our world is a brighter and better place because Mom was here.
