It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gloria Schmidinger, she came into this life on April 12,1941, and return to her home with God on June 16, 2026, she was 85 year old. ,

She touched many lives with her love, humor, faith, and an unwavering desire to help others.

She came to the United States, from Havana Cube, in 1955, and became a proud United States citizen in 1958, she inspired many to come to this great country

She is survived by her daughter Patricia, her husband James, her grandson Jonathan, and preceded by the death of her son John John McLane. She loved her husband Eugene, and thanked him for the life he gave her. She is survived by his children Jimmy, Valaundra, Jeff, and the death of his son John. She never called his children stepchildren but her children, she is survived by all their 7 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren, and thought of them as her own, and adored them all.

There will be a mass at St Bernadette’s Catholic Church, 7450 Stirling Road, Hollywood, Florida at 11am on June 22, 2026. The family requests no flowers, please make a donation in lieu flowers.

She will be greatly missed.
