Angela M. Calabrese (“Lee”), 97, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2026. Born in Germantown, PA on August 5, 1928. She attended beauty school and became a hairdresser; eventually owning her own salon, The Personal Touch, in Miami, FL. She married the love of her life, Joseph J. Calabrese, in 1948. Joe and Lee enjoyed 65 years together before his passing on October 2, 2013, during which time they enjoyed travelling the US and Europe together.

Lee is survived by her children Mark (Melinda), Diane, Gerry (Iliana), and Angela Faulkner (Robert); grandchildren Ashley McLaughlin (John), Robert Calabrese (Karyn), Christina Keisler (Jeremy), Thomas Faulkner, Lauren Wood (Taylor), and Brett Levitt; great grandchildren Jack and Charlie McLaughlin, Colin and Sadie Calabrese, and Lucas Wood; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Stepfather and Mother, Rudy and Mary Nardi, and her younger brother, John Pellegrino (Mary).

She enjoyed knitting, needlepointing, cooking, and caring for her beautiful home and plants. She was a voracious reader and especially loved detective novels. Lee and Joe were founding members of the Parish of the Visitation Catholic Church and formed many long-time relationships with clergy and parishioners through their volunteerism and participation in the Christian Family Movement. Many parishioners enjoyed her meatball sandwiches at the annual church carnival food booth. With her natural ability to lead, Lee also became the president of a woman’s professional club, Zonta.

In Repose Wednesday July 29, 2026 from 3-8 P.M. at the Joseph A. Scarano Pines Memorial Chapel, Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday July 30, 2026 at 10:30 A.M. at Visitation Catholic Church, 100 NE 191st St, Miami, Florida, burial to follow at 1:30 P.M. at the South Florida VA National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida.
