COLONNA, George born February 22, 1925 to his loving parents Nunzia Sforza and Michele in Boston, MA and passed away February 10, 2016 in Hollywood, Florida after a long illness. Beloved husband of Maria Spallucci Colonna of 63 years, devoted father of Nancy Farner married to Marc and Michael Colonna married to Lorri. Cherished grandfather to Joe Colonna, Julia Woods, Angelina Salyers, Alexandra Colonna and Lauranne Colonna. Loving Great Grandfather of Sophia, Christopher, Hannah, Luke, Leah and Mason. Dearest brother of Helen Mastromauro.

George was the youngest of 19 siblings, he was raised in Corato, Italy. Retired as a business owner of restaurants and cab owner in MA. He moved to Florida 4 years ago. Visiting hours are 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Joseph A. Scarano Presidential Circle Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2;00 P.M. at the Nativity Catholic Church in Hollywood. Interment to follow at Lauderdale Memorial Park cemetery in Fort Lauderdale. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to: Joe DiMaggio Children's hospital in Hollywood, Florida as he loved all children.
