Maria S. Diaz, of Pembroke Pines, born in Sancti Spiritus, Cuba passed away at Catholic Hospice after a brief illness on July 27, 2016. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Maria Huergo DeMartino and Leticia M. Diaz, two beloved grandchildren, Albert and Emily Behzadi and her two sons in law, Nick DeMartino and Harry Behzadi. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Alzheimer's Association. Viewing at Scarano Funeral Home, 9000 Pines Blvd, Pembroke Pines on Friday, July 29 at 5:00pm- 10:00 pm Mass and funeral- Saturday at 10:00 am at Scarano funeral home. Burial following funeral at Our Lady of Mercy cemetery, Miami, Florida
