Clara L. Farneti of Pelham Bay, Bronx, NY; Bayport, NY; East Patchogue, NY And Hallandale Beach, Florida was born January 4th, 1925 to Evelyn Barattini Longo and Joseph Longo. Clara was predeceased by her siblings: Madeline (Madge) Longo Sciarrillo Marcus of Manhattan and Hollywood, Florida; Elvira (Vera) Longo Samore of The Bronx; Marie Longo of Manhattan; Lawrence (Larry) Longo of Worthington, Indiana; and, Joseph B. Longo of Somers, New York. Clara was a graduate of Christopher Columbus High School Bronx, New York. Clara worked as a Dental Assistant in New York City. She married Jack Farneti on May 5th, 1951 at St. Raymond’s Church, Parkchester, New York. They had four children: Giacomo (Jack) Farneti (wife Evelyn) of West Islip and Rockaway, New York Retired Principal Brentwood High School Brentwood, New York Joseph Farneti ( wife Eileen) of Babylon, New York Acting New York State Supreme Court Justice, Riverhead, New York Anthony Farneti ( wife Connie) of Babylon, New York Retired NYPD Detective and Chief Security Officer of Waste Management Corp. Vanessa Farneti (husband Michael Bulone) of Hoboken, New Jersey Retired Perfusionist St. Vincent’s Hospital, Mt. Sinai Hospital and Beth Israel, Consultant Medistim USA Three Grandchildren Giacomo, Jr.; Joseph James; and Isabella. Five Great-grandchildren Clara is also survived by many adoring nieces and nephews. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project and St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
