Obituary of Joseph Cirincione

Joseph Cirincione, age 95, of Hollywood, FL passed away peacefully on January 4, 2024. Joe was born on March 7, 1928 in Oakmount, PA. Son of the late Christina (Maiorca) Cirincione and Frank Cirincione. He was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years Helen(DiMayo) Cirincione. They were married in October 1951. Joe was one of seven brothers, who have all passed away, Thomas, Steven, Carmello, Rosario, August and James. After returning from active duty with the U.S. Coast Guard as a Petty Officer, he worked for Duquesne Light Co as an electrician, in which he took great pride. Joe and Helen enjoyed many summers boating at their camp near Pymatuning State Park. They loved to spend time there with their family, especially their grandchildren Anthony and Emily. After retiring to Florida, Joe spent much of his free time golfing with friends and his son, Joe. He spent his last year in assisted living where he remained an avid reader. He used his computer and tablet to read, play games and follow his favorite sports teams. He loved watching golf and football, especially his team, the Steelers. His memory remained stellar and he loved reminiscing about his life and Helen’s wonderful cooking. Survived by his sons, Richard (wife Karen) and Joseph (wife Diane). He so loved his grandchildren, Anthony (wife Sasha) and Emily Cirincione and great-grandchildren, Aidan and Dominic. A private cremation has been held. Interment to follow later this year at the family plot in Arnold, PA A father is the only man alive that wishes you to be better than himself.
