KNIGHT Columbia Mary Knight "Pelligrino" born May 1, 1924 in Island Park, LI New York to her loving parents Giovanni Pelligrino and Felicia Marscio Pelligrino passed away Saturday June 25, 2016 at her home in West Park, Florida. Beloved wife of the late George Knight, Jr. Loving mother of John married to Roxane, George P. III married to Lisa and Stephen married to Kathy. Loving grandmother to Tammy, Tiffany, Lauren, Stephen, Bradley, Matthew and Jake and loving great grandmother to Emily, Blake and Danielle. She was the last of 6 siblings. She grew up in LI NY and moved to Florida in 1956 and worked at Dunn and Brick Supply in Dania. Florida. Columbia was a devout Catholic attended Mass every day at the Church of the Annunciation in Hollywood, Fl where she was a member of The Legion of Mary and an Eucharistic Minister for many years. She enjoyed playing tennis for fifty years; she loved politics and will be remembered for being very independent. Reposing at the Joseph A. Scarano Presidential Circle Funeral Home 4351 Hollywood Blvd. Hollywood Hills, Florida 33021 from 3 PM to 7 PM Wednesday June 29, 2016 where the funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM
