PATRICK JOSEPH SULLIVAN, 70, of Dania Beach - passed away suddenly on August 1, 2016. Pat was born on December 28, 1945 in The Bronx to Irish Immigrants, Nellie & Patrick Sullivan. He was a proud Navy Veteran, who was stationed on the USS Boxer. Pat moved from The Bronx to South Florida in 1972. He was a Florida State Certified Roofing Contractor and was a business owner and operator all of his life. Pat was very proud to call himself Bill W's friend for 35 years and he helped countless other friends with their struggles of addiction as well. Pat was also an avid art lover, who always found the time to attend art shows. Pat became a grandfather to twins, Colin and Evie, on May 9, 2016. He was ecstatic to become Grandpa and he was a natural at it! He loved visiting the twins and holding them, feeding them and caring for them. He was a very loving and doting grandfather and the twins were lucky enough to spend time with him the day that he passed away. Pat is survived by his longtime companion/wife Kelly Townsend, his son Sean Sullivan and his wife Erika, their two adorable twins, Evie & Colin, his sister Helen and her husband Tom Piazza, and their two daughters, Karen Sullivan and Lisa Piazza Nocera.
