LT. COL. Rosario Roy Di Maria 76 of Hollywood Beach, Florida passed away on December 24, 2017. Born February 18, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York to his loving parents Madeline Friscia and Joseph Di Maria. Beloved husband of Nancy Arman of 22 years. Devoted father of Joseph Michael "Rebeykah," Vincent Santo "Jennifer " and Madeline Donovan "William," Michelle Di Maria"Glenn." Loving Stepfather of Darlene "Steven Morales" and Jodi "Eric De Marte." Cherished Grandfather and Great Grandfather to Annabella, Ariyah,Sydney, Hannah, Sophia, Elizabeth, Taylor, Madison, Jacob, Zachary, Dianna, Lauren Donovan and Edison. Retired U.S Airfore LT. COL. De Maria moved to Florida in 2012 from Cedarhurst, Long Island, New York. His service in South East Asia and full command was at Aviano Air Base in Italy. As commander there he received 2 units citation awards. Award the Bronze Star Metal for meretorus service metals, one comendation metal and 1 Vietman metal. A memeber of St. Matthew Catholic Church, he loved living on the beach and he loved to cruise.  In Repose Wednesday, Decemeber 27, 2017 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 3:30 P.M. in St. Matthew Catholic Church. Interment with Honors will take place at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia at a later date.
