Richard Maurice Chapdelaine, 67 of Hollywood passed away Wednesday April 26, 2018 in Hollywood, Florida. Born August 23, 1950. In Repose Saturday April 28, 2018 from 5-9 P.M., Navy Honor Guard Service will begin at 5 P.M. followed by a 5:30 P.M. Chapel Funeral Service, cremation to follow. Arrangements by Joseph A. Richard Maurice Chapdelaine, 67, passed away on April 25, 2018 in Hollywood , Florida . A celebration of Richard’s life will be held Saturday April 28, 2018 at 5pm at Scarano Funeral Homes 9000 Pines Blvd, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024, with Pastor Santiago of Maranatha Pentecostal Church, officiating. Richard was born in Springfield Massachusetts to Maurice and Jean Chapdelaine on August 23, 1950.  He went to school at South Broward High School .  He married Marie on January 21, 1989 at their home in Hollywood , Florida .  Richard worked as a Service Manager and South Florida Printing Specialist for Xerox Corporation for 39 years.  He was a veteran of the Vietnam War where he served in the Navy and was awarded an Honorable Discharge after 4 years of service. Richard is preceded in death by his parents Maurice and Jean Chapdelaine, sister Louise Nelson and brother Michael Chapdelaine. Richard is survived by his wife of 29 years Marie Chapdelaine, son Richard Chapdelaine II, daughter Nicole Hedgecock and her husband Nathan, and 2 grand-children Nicholas and Madison Hedgecock.
