Obituary of Cheryl B. Cabarcas

Please share a memory of Cheryl to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

CABARCAS

Cheryl Cabarcas passed away peacefully on May 29, 2018 surrounded by her family. She went by many names: daughter of Esmina, sister of Rudolph and Rowena, wife, mother, aunt, cousin, “abuelita” and “Doet.” She was loved dearly by her husband, Armando, whom she married in 1970, and who was by her side until the end. They had 3 beautiful children and 4 grandchildren; Cheryl was a dedicated mother until her last breath, praying that her children would find comfort over the days ahead.  Cheryl’s legacy will continue with her children and their partners: Araceli (fiancée of Doug), Armando Jr. (husband of Jasmin), and Alex (fiancé of Johanna). Her grandchildren: Jasmine, Noah, Alyssa, and Eli were her greatest joy and they will continue to bring her glory with their accomplishments. Cheryl loved her family which included nieces (Melissa and Tamara), nephews (Ricky and Alex), and countless cousins. The number of friends whom she loved and cherished are immeasurable since Cheryl remained connected to everyone; she has been lovingly referred to as a “Text Minister” by Thalia since she would encourage over a 100 people daily with uplifting words encouraging them in their walk with God. May she rest in peace with the comfort of God’s promise: John 3:16. In Repose Friday, June 8, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. to  2:00 P.M. following by Burial at Forest Lawn South Cemetery. Arrangements by Joseph A. Scarano Pines Memorial Chapel 9000 Pines Boulevard Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.
