Obituary of Norma Dolores Sharpe

Norma Delores Sampson was born in Kingston, Jamaica on February 27th 1929.

She was the second of 6 children born to Altmont Roy and Ethline Sampson.

Norma Migrated to the United States in her early teens. She later met and married Enarld Joseph Sharpe. Their marriage produced 2 children, Yvonne and Joseph Sharpe Jr., both deceased.

She was a devoted wife to her husband and mother to their children. She was a kind and generous person and her home was always open to family and friends.

Her desire to work in an environment helping others led her to Creedmoor Mental Health Hospital, where she worked for many years and was recognized for her outstanding contribution.

After Retirement, Norma and her husband Joe, who preceded her, relocated to Florida where they settled in Pembroke Pines.  She was a long standing member of the Unity Church and enjoyed working in her community.

Norma leaves behind one sister (Carole McClean), one brother (Garette Sampson), one Aunt (Gilder Sampson), one Granddaughter (Crystal Sampson), and many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

She will be missed by all who were blessed to cross her path. Norma we will love you Always!
