FRANCIS ALBERT CRABB JR

December 08, 1936 – August 01, 2018

 

Passed away peacefully at home in Miramar, FL with his daughter Jacqueline by his side

 

Best known as Sonny to family & Frank to friends. Preceded in death by his Parents, Francis A. Crabb and Elizabeth Merrill Carl, Sister Nancy Jo, Brother George, Daughter Wendy Lee, Wife Laurie Ann and Grand daughter Jennifer Grace.  He is survived by his loving daughter Jacqueline, Brother Donald Crabb -Wife Sandy, Sister-in-law Joanna Crabb, Nieces Leslie (Doug), Tricia (David). Grand Daughters Stephanie (Damon), and Emily6 Great grandchildren Mirayah, Bedford, Madelyn, Deegan, John and Skylar and One soon too be. He leaves behind many Fam Frank proudly served Our Country as a Chief Warrant Officer in the United States Coast Guard for over 25 years, earning many medals and accommodations. He was a Viet Nam Veteran Serving on The Coast Guard Cutter DALLAS WHEC 716 WEST PAC CRUISE.  He spent his life with his passion of growing Orchids, he was known as the Orchid Man to many. He served as the Miramar Orchid Society President for many years, and was a member of many Orchid Societies in South Florida as well as a longtime member of the American Orchid Society. He earned many Ribbons for his prize plants.
