Obituary of Marie Francoise Rosett Cadet

Marie Rosette Francois Cadet, 77

Marie Rosette “FiFi” was born in Port Au Prince, Haiti on October 5, 1940. She entered Heaven’s gates on August 13, 2018.

 

A consummate mother and homemaker, Marie Rosette Francois Cadet was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. Over the years she cooked and insisted that everyone come to share and enjoy her cooking. She loved to watch CNN and was also a huge sports fan, who enjoyed watching WWF. She knew all the professional Wrestlers since WWF first began in 1961.

 

Marie Rosette had an unwavering faith in God. She was a member of St. Therese in Brooklyn and then became a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Miramar when she moved to Florida in 1988. She was a devout Catholic and firmly believed in the seven sacraments. She was also a business woman who once owned her own restaurant in Brooklyn and later an “Import/Export” Business in Florida. Most importantly, she was a fighter! She was able to overcome and beat Cancer about 15 years ago.

 

Marie Rosette was predeceased by her loving mother, Lovely Fevry and father Prince Thomas Napoleon, her sisters Marie Rose Napoleon, Marie Massillon and her brother, Moise Napoleon. Marie Rosette is survived by her sons Jimmy Cadet and Patrick Heurtelou, Alexandro Cadet; her daughters, Myriam Cadet, Bregette Cadet, Genevieve Cadet, and Farrah Heurtelou. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, Sharline Cadet and Tatiana Cadet, Charles Stewart, Desiny Stewart, Kenny Stewart, Isiah Stewart, Denzel Young, Mikayla Young, Jaida Young, Myah Williams, Nylah Williams, Jahniece Williams, Dinero Heurtelou, Patrick Heurtelou, Lyberty Heurtelou, Mariah Heurtelou and she had two great grandchildren, Zara Raye Stewart and Laila Sylvester.

 

Fifi was Loved by so many! Her family and friends from Haiti, New York and Florida will miss her dearly. She was truly one of a kind. An unforgettable, loving, kind hearted, and giving person. Holidays will never be the same without her! We Love You Mom….
