Obituary of Warren Leroy Mull

Warren Leroy Mull, age 91, of Pembroke Pines and formerly of North Miami, FL and Harrisburg, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 14th surrounded by his loving family. Warren was born on May 31, 1927 in Lancaster, PA. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Warren was the widower of Helen K. Mull whom he married on July 16, 1949, and who died on November 24, 2002. In addition to his wife, Helen, he is preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Mary Mull, and his sister, Ida Boyle. 

 

Warren's survivors include his two children: Tim Mull and his wife, Brooke, of Minneapolis, MN, Kathy Orlando and her husband, John, of Cooper City, FL, and his beloved granddaughter, Kristina Giovannucci and her husband, Nick, of Tucson, AZ. Warren is also survived by his brother Bob and his wife, Eva, of Harrisburg, PA, brother-in-law, Bern Kramer, of Del City, OK and many nieces and nephews. 

 

Warren graduated from Catholic High School and served his country in the U. S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He worked for Bethlehem Steel in Pennsylvania and after moving to Florida in 1956 was Office Manager of Premier Beverage until his retirement in 1992. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church in North Miami and did volunteer work there for many years. After moving to Pembroke Pines, he joined St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church where he continued his volunteer work running weekly bingo. He was always ready to lend a hand to anyone who needed help. 

 

Warren was happiest when spending time with his granddaughter, Kristina, whom he was so proud of. He was all about making others happy and spent his life doing so. 

 

All are welcome to join Warren's family for his viewing on Friday, August 17th from 5 pm to 9 pm at Joseph Scarano's Funeral Home, 9000 Pines Blvd., Pembroke Pines (954) 438-8222. His funeral Mass will be Saturday, August 18th at 11:00 am at St. Mark Catholic Church, 5601 S. Flamingo Road, Southwest Ranches (954) 434-3777 with burial immediately following at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery, 11411 NW 25th Street, Miami (305) 592-0521. Friends are invited to a celebration of Warren's life at his home in Century Village following his interment for lunch, 12800 SW 7th Court, Apt G-206, Pembroke Pines (954) 909-2336.
