Fernanda (Santoro) Pettinella died a few days shy of her 90th birthday of November 12th. She peacefully left our earthly home to reunite with her family residing in the House of our Lord. Fernanda, born in Popoli, Italy to her parents, Liberata Camarra and Nicola Santoro. She has reunited with her parents, her sisters, Elsa & Giuliana and her brother, Pietro. She has also reunited with her husband, Guerino Pettinella that preceded her in death in May 2002. Fernanda & Guerino were married for 54 years, establishing their household predominately in the Bronx. Fernanda was born to an American citizen and was able to arrive in 1956 into the USA to start her American journey and continue her father's vision of the American dream.
Fernanda leaves behind her four children, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Fernanda also leaves behind her many nephews & nieces, grand-nephews & grand nieces in USA, Italy, and parts of Europe. Her one living sister in Italy. Not only she will be missed by her family, but also from many lifelong friends in USA & Italy, and her new friends in Boca Raton.
