Obituary of Anna Frio Lancellotti

It is with great sadness that the family of Anna Frio Lancellotti announces her passing on November 9, 2018 after 103 years of a beautiful and full life. Anna was a first-generation Italian American born to Carmine and Angela D’Arezzo Frio on November 8, 1915 in Providence, Rhode Island.  She found her soul mate, Joseph Lancellotti, while dancing and was married on September 2, 1940.  For over 60 years, Anna and Joseph would raise two daughters and share their lives together in South Florida.  Anna will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Carolyn Lancellotti Holden of Pembroke Pines, FL, her three grandchildren, Mark and Joanne Acosta of Duluth, GA and Elizabeth Holden of Euless, TX, as well as her son in law, Harry M. Holden, Jr.  Anna will be fondly remembered by the countless people whose lives she touched throughout her many years.  Anna was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Conchetta, Edith, Philomena, Joseph and Armando, her husband, Joseph, and daughter, Barbara. A prayer service will be held on Sunday, November 18 from 4-7PM at Nardolillo Funeral Home in Cranston, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Father Edward Nedder will be celebrated in memory of Anna on Monday, November 19 at 10:00AM at Saint George Maronite Catholic Church, formerly St. Ann’s Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in the family plot at Saint Ann’s Cemetery.
