Obituary of Maria Scarpa

Maria Scarpa, 87 of Hollywood passed away Saturday November 17, 2018 in Aventura, Florida. Born August 8, 1931.Funeral Mass Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Church of Little Flower, 1805 Pierce Street, Hollywood, Florida 33020 954-922-3517, cremation to follow. Arrangements by Joseph A. Scarano Presidential Circle Memorial Chapel 4351 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood Hills, Florida 33021. Maria Scarpa, age 87, formerly of Hollywood, Florida passed away on November 17, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Theresa and Emilio Bombardieri of Fiorano al Serio, Italy and the widow of her late husband, Giuliano. She was the eldest sister to Pinucchio, Anselmo, Luigi, Margherita and Gemma. Those who knew Mary well will remember her lovingly as being very active. She loved swimming, dancing, playing tennis and taking long walks.  Mary had a lifelong love for learning.  She was candid and quick witted with an outgoing personality. She easily made friends wherever she went and was charitable supporting several causes that improved the lives of children worldwide.   Mary leaves behind her only son Rudy and his wife Brianna and her son Joseph and her grandchildren, Ryan and Sienna.  Family meant everything as they were unquestionably the most important part of her life, her pride and joy. She will also be missed dearly by her family in Italy that includes her siblings, her nieces Linda, Gaia and her mother Nicoletta in addition to her companion Franco who was kind to her and made Mary laugh.    Mary will be remembered Sat Nov 24^th from 2-3 PM at the Chapel of Roses of Little Flower Catholic Church 1805 Pierce St, Hollywood FL 33020.
