Obituary of John Lukacsko

John E. Lukacsko, 84, died peacefully with his wife Dorothy at his side on November 23, 2016 at Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines, Florida. He leaves his wife of 37 years, Dorothy; children Amy and Michael Papera, Carrie and Ray Galkowski, Erik and Shea Lukacsko, Ralph and Debbie Vigorito, Tom and Natalie Vigorito, Darcy Nash, Patti and Matt Babich; 22 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. He was born and lived in northern New Jersey until re-locating to Florida 23 year ago. He was proud of his military service which consisted of being in the Artillery with action in Korea. He was awarded the Bronze Star for his meritorious service in combat. Family and friends are invited to the viewing at Scarano Pines Memorial Chapel, 9000 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines, between 5 and 8 pm Monday November 28. The funeral Mass will take place at 9:30 am on Tuesday November 29 at Saint Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, 701 North Hiatus Road, Pembroke Pines. The burial will follow at South Florida VA National Cemetery in Lake Worth. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Disabled Veterans www.dav.org A memorial service will be held in NJ in late December.
