Obituary of Robert L. Romano

Robert L. Romano passed peacefully on February 20, 2019 surrounded by family. He fought a hard short battle and now is in peace. 

He is survived by his wife Susan Romano, sister Lois Brunetti, and brother Ken Romano. He leaves behind three children, Bob Romano, Steven Romano, and Anida Messner, along with five grandchildren, Emily Santiago, Kelsey McGarvey, Jason McGarvey, Jake Romano and Jordan Romano, and one great grandchild Damian Espada.

Robert was born November 20, 1939 in Brooklyn NY.  He was devoted to family and a workaholic.  He spent his life working in sales and later in life ventured into self-employment.  He wanted to leave a legacy for his children and their children to come.  He never stopped and every choice he made was for his family and their future.  He was a stubborn man but usually was always right, we will miss his silly jokes, his sarcastic wit, his humor, his devotion to sports, his love for his boat and the ocean, and his wisdom.  He wanted us to “listen and learn”.  He had an amazing financial business brain that never stopped.  He has passed his love for family and hard work down to his children as they continue his legacy.    His passing was quick and left many sad, but today we celebrate a great man that has left behind many amazing memories.

Services will be at Joseph A. Scarano Presidential Circle Memorial Chapel  Funeral Home at 4351 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood FL 33021. From 2-5pm on Monday 25, 2019, with a memorial service following at the funeral parlor.
