Obituary of Daniel R. Friedman

FRIEDMAN

Daniel R. Friedman was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Bob and Nell Friedman.  Dan had an older brother, David (now deceased) and a twin sister, Deborah Cook.  He and his family moved to South Florida in the 1950’s.  Dan joined the Army after graduating from North Miami High School.  During his service in the Army, he married Elizabeth (Betty) Leeds. They had three sons: Kevin, Steven, and Brian. Dan was honorably discharged upon completion of his service. Dan was a Supervisor for Florida Power and Light for 35 years. Upon retirement, he and Betty travelled across North America and throughout Europe.They were married for 55 years.Dan was known for his generosity and good humor. He loved fishing, music, and being with his family and friends.Celebration of LIfe Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, April 18 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. with a Funeral Service at 3:00 P.M.
