Obituary of Beatriz Moya

Beatriz passed away surrounded by love on June 1, 2019. She was born to Joseph Gabriel and Inez on January 28, 1927. Beatriz had three sisters Inez, Elena and Maria Victoria and brother Jorge. Beatriz welcomed eight children into the world and will forever be in the hearts of her children, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. All that knew her could tell you about her love for music and passion for singing and entertaining those around her. Beatriz’ voice was full of magic, beauty and soul. There were many successes in Beatriz’s life, she owned three flower shops in Colombia making incredible works of art and later passing her talents onto her children. She first moved to the United States on July 4, 1962 with all eight of her children and would eventually return for good in 1998. Beatriz’ memory will forever live on in the many lives she’s touched.
