Obituary of Hiromi Ando

Please share a memory of Hiromi to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Hiromi Ando, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at the age of 75 from a heart attack. Hiromi is survived by his wife, Graciela Miller, his two children, Mina Hession of New York City, and Rentaro Ando of Gainesville, Georgia, his son-in-law, John Hession, his daughter-in-law Rebecca Ando, and his three grandchildren, Alec Hession, Henry Hiromi Ando and Anna Hession.

Hiromi was born in Okazaki, Japan, and during a time when few Japanese set out to travel outside their country, he moved to New York City in 1969 to begin his career as a stockbroker, and ultimately held a number of high profile positions in finance. From an early age he lived his life to the fullest and was an adventurer and avid traveler. His love of life was also expressed through his love of fine dining and good wine, which he enjoyed best with his friends and family. Hiromi retired in Florida where he met Graciela and spent the happiest moments of his life together with her. He was a bright, funny and loving husband and father. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Services will be held this Saturday at Scarano Funeral Home in Davie from 2:00-5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate an honor memorial donation to the Humane Society of Broward County to celebrate his life and love of animals.
