Obituary of Bernadette Abrea Estoque

On July 13, 2019, Bernadette Abrea Estoque, loving wife and mother, passed away at the age of 64. 
 

Bernadette was born on June 20, 1955 in Jagna, Bohol, Philippines to Edilberto and Candida (Jastiva) Abrea. She received a Bachelors degree in Accountancy from the University of San Carlos in Cebu City and worked as an Accountant for some time in Manila. In the United States, she worked a variety of jobs, eventually ending up in the United States Postal Service where she worked as a postal worker for almost 20 years. On September 15, 1990, she married Eugene Mangyao Estoque in Los Angeles, California. They raised one daughter, Eileen Brittany Estoque, and moved to South Florida shortly after her birth.
 

Bernadette had a passion for gardening and cooking. She also had a deep dedication to her Catholic faith. She loved music, dancing, and spending quality time with friends and family. She was known for her compassion, positivity, and hard-working nature. Bernadette was preceded in death by her father, Edilberto Sr., her mother, Candida, and her brother, Samuel. She is survived by her husband Eugene, her daughter Eileen, her son-in-law Nikita, her sisters Jane, Norma, Elizabeth, Lourdes, Maria Teresita, Eleuteria, and Mercedes, her brothers Jaime and Edilberto Jr., and numerous nieces and nephews.
 

A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 21st at Joseph A. Scarano Funeral Home on Stirling Rd. between 2PM-9PM. A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, July 25th at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church on Coral Ridge Dr. at 11AM. After the visitation and memorial mass, Bernadette will be laid to rest in Jagna, Bohol. Flowers or donations may be sent to Eugene or Eileen Estoque.
