Obituary of Lorly Nañez Andal

Lorly Nanez Andal of Cooper City, Florida had been called to Eternal Rest on Saturday October 5, 2019 in Pembroke Pines, Florida.  Born to her loving parents Jose Nanez and Marta Jabal on January 12, 1952 in Lucena, Philippines.  Beloved wife to Domingo.  Devoted mother to her only daughter Laurie May and loving Lola to Cora Joy.  Caring sister to Renato Nanez, Jose Nanez Jr, Henry Nanez, and preceded in death by her sisters Linda Eclavea and Marlin Ilagan.

Lorly was a kindhearted, intelligent and hard-working woman with the desire to dedicate her life to caring and serving others which led to her career in nursing.  She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at Far Eastern University in the Philippines and immigrated to the United States in 1970’s.  She began her nursing career at Mt Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach, Florida where she devoted her life’s passion from 1976 until 2015.  Lorly met her husband Domingo in ­­­­­­­­­­­­1981 and was happily married for 38 years.  They were blessed with their only daughter Laurie May and granddaughter Cora Joy.  Lorly’s life was filled with love and generosity which she unconditionally shared with her surrounding family and friends.  We take solace in the fact that she is now at home and in peace with the Lord.  She will be dearly missed by those many lives that she has touched and will forever live in our hearts. 

In Repose Wednesday October 9 2019 starting at 2 P.M. through 10 A.M. Friday October 11, 2019. 

Funeral Mass 10:30 A.M. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church 7450 Stirling Road Hollywood, Florida 33024.  Burial Services to immediately follow at Forest Lawn South Cemetery in Davie, Florida

Reception to follow at Embassy Lakes Clubhouse (directions will be given at the end of church mass)
